Today’s performance objective : Students should know and be able to draw and label the parts of the nervous system and identify the function of those parts

Case study – Nervous system
You will investigate a disorder of the nervous system and create either a poster, a PowerPoint , or a another form of presentation to demonstrate your knowledge of this disease or disorder.. In your presentation you must include :
1) the disease and how it is obtained (genetic, virus, infection, etc)
2) which body systems it also affects and how it affects those systems
3) a list of the symptoms of the disease and how many people are affected by this disease
4) how is Homeostasis adversely affected by your disease
5) possible cures or treatments
6) a written summary that hypothesizes what might be the best form of treatment for this disease backed up by medical data and what scientists should investigate to eliminate this disorder for ever
